Challenge Me Happy #34

Billedet viser mine to skønne drenge, klar til fest i 2010.

This layout has been sitting on my desk since last weekend. This morning I gave it the finished touch. I found a very cool sketh I just had to use. It's from Challenge Me Happy - Challenge #34. On the photo my 2 lovely sons are all ready to party in 2010.

The background paper is an old one. The hexagons is cut off a patterned paper from My Minds Eye. I've been playing with some gesso and acrylic paint again and a little bit of washi tape.

 Denne skitse er så cool!!
The very cool sketch!!

.... just a close-up.

Now I will create another layout. I have a day off work today - and that's so, so, so great!
Have a nice day everyone.

Veckans skiss uge 47

Here's a new layout which is up at Veckans Skiss right now.

This photo is taken an evening in September, when DH and I went for a ride. I love the photo! I've been playing around with gesso (love that product!!!), acrylic paint, mist. It was a very fun page to create!

The "chevron arrows" is made using my photo corner die for my QuickKutz. I've dapped the "arrows" with gesso and acrylic paint (I used my finger).

". Sjov udfordring. :)

This layout is about myself. It's created as a part of my DT work for Veckans Skiss (week 46). There's a twist to the sketch and it is: "Time capsule". What is happening right now?, What do you read? Is there something particular going on in your life right now? etc etc". It was a fun challenge. :)

The journaling is personal, so I've blurred it.
I've been playing around with acrylic paint, glimmermist and some ink. The circles is made using a plate. The chipboard flower is from 2Crafty (a part of the huge give away I won over at Linda's).

The cool sketch made by our own Jenni. :) :)

A close-up. The background paper is all white IRL - but it was hard to take a better photo in grey weather.

Enjoy the weekend! I'll talk to you soon.

Bird is the Word: Sweet.

Over at Bird is the Word the new word is "sweet". I've created this layout for the challenge.

The photo shows my youngest niece - she's so very sweet. I've been playing around with a lot of messy stuff. Gesso, masking, glimmermist, acrylic paint and my Quick Cuts, which made the "arrows". It's a photo corner die - and it's perfect for "arrows. Some of the flowers are from the big giwe away I won over at Linda's.

Close-up. The date is stamped with my smash stamp.

The title letters are from Kaiser Craft.

Nu vil jeg gå en dejlig tur. Det er så flot vejr her hos os i dag.
Now I will go for a walk. The weather here is so beautiful today.

Stuck?! November 1st Sketch

I've created this layout over a couple of days. The photo is from our vacation in Spain. The sketch is found at Stuck?! - and it's pretty cool I think.

Papers are from different manufactures. I've used a big doily, I misted it a bit. Title letters are Thickers: Dear Lizzy + American Crafts "Fancy" -they are glitter foam letters.

 The cool sketch.

MS punch for the butterflies, some black and white pearls, some acrylic paint.

Tak for du kigger forbi :)
Thanks for your visit. :)

WW1 November challenge

White With One Challenge for November is: WHITE + GREEN(S) + CHEVRON PATTERN.
So I came up with this layout.

Photo is taken in October 2010 on a trip to the Danish island "Bornholm".

The big flower is a part of the huge give away I won over at Linda's. :) - you can find her link in the sidebar - her blog i called "Lou's World".
Buttons are old, the leaves are old ones too (it's sooo nice to use up some of the stash). The word "destination" is an old rubon from MM.

The tag behind the photo is also a part of the big give away from Linda. The "chevrons" are made using a Quick cut die (it's really a long, long time ago I've used my Quick cut). I've also used some twine, acrylic paint + mist.
